Not sure Mark. The reason is that, when I tried tonight to import from my C/Macontosh HD/User/Ray/Music/Audio/ folder in to my C/Macintosh HD/User/Ray/Music/ITunes/ITunes Media/Music folder, it crashed even though I set ITunes to allow copying. I had a thought that perhaps the answer might be to just manually move the ~/Music/Audio folder structure intact in to the ~/Music/ITunes/ITunes Media/Music folder. Keep in mind that this is still happening even after an OS archive and reinstall. I really think it's got to do with the way ITunes 10.6 is coded.
Honestly, I do wish ITunes wasn't so damn library dependant. Just give me a nice easy fast player that has cross fading and enque and Let me ENQ from the finder window and I'm happy. Now, if they made ITunes so that it wasn't library dependant at all, and just a nice little player with ENQ and cross fading and could make playlists of any sort, I'd be much happier. Winamp for the Mac is nowhere close to that now. Sincerely, The Constantly Barefooted Ray!!! Now a very proud and happy Mac user!!!
