Hi, Rahul, Flash content is very resource-intensive. HTML5 media content is being used more and more. Youtube has this trial going on: http://www.youtube.com/html5 The player is built right into the HTML coding and is a much cleaner solution.
You can also install an extension for Safari, ClickToPlugin. This will convert the flash players into HTML5 for Youtube and other sites. http://hoyois.github.com/safariextensions/clicktoplugin/ Ironically, it seems that the plugin for Safari works best if the flash player is updated to the latest version.
