Thanks also, Mark.  I definitely would like to try this method of
reading BRF files now that I bought my new Refreshabraille.

In case some of you are like me and never use iTunes to sync my iPod,
you could copy the converted file to your dropbox folder and then use
the dropbox app on the IOS device to push it into iBook.  Of course,
this assumes you have a dropbox account and the appropriate tools in
place.  Anyway, I had no idea it would be that easy to do this.  I
personally have no experience with .BRF files so far.
