as it's a discussion on here which will cause a few twinges to some here including myself, I know how you feel about logic.
unfortunately, there's no work arounds at all for logic. as an example, in the main arrange window, you cannot get track name or header info, nor any functions regarding recard arm, solo, etc nor it's control of track cursor, etc. Seriously, I advise abandoning this lost cause in logic and moving to ProTools 10. it's the only way and I'm sorry to have to say it. There's nothing else on the market that's voiceover compatible which focuses in multi track recording, editing, sound design or production needs for the pro audio user other than pro tools. My background here is having worked with logic studio 8 and 9. the only way of using it was as a tape master from a 48 channel digital desk with MMC control. This meant that voiceover couldn't respond anyway but for my work at the time, that was the only way for it. so the desk was the only way of tactile access. through track arming on the fly, record automation from the desk using logic as a tape and MMC slave, etc. lew On 14 Apr 2012, at 19:43, Nektarios Mallas wrote: > Hello list. > I am fighting with Logic pro these days and I am wondering if anybody here > found any tips to access information in the arrange area. > For example, how to get time position or info about bars etc. > Also any specific view or configuration that will make life easier with Logic > are very welcome. > Please save yourself some time and keystrokes, not remind me that Logic is > inaccessible and a lost cause because I already know that. > Thanks for any suggestions. > > Nektarios. > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "MacVisionaries" group. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected]. > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/macvisionaries?hl=en. > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
