Hi, all. I'm having kind of a strange problem that I'm hoping someone here can help with.
I'm running snow leopard on a MacBook, and Safari is the browser I'm using. So, I have a profile set up on one of the online dating services. However, when I want to edit this profile, I run into a problem. I can easily edit things that have radio buttons or check boxes. However, when I want to edit something in a form field, it won't let me do it. I called and asked the company how to do this. They told me I had to click in the actual form field. I've tried making sure the field is under the mouse using vo f5, and, once it's there, I do VO space, which is what I understood to be the equivalent of a mouse click. However, it just makes a beeping sound at me, and I can't edit the form field. I've tried this both interacting and not interacting with the text, and it makes no difference. So, is there something I'm doing wrong? Oh. I've also tried using the track pad, and double tapping when the field is under the mouse. The results are the same. So, I'm quite baffled, and would appreciate any help anyone can offer.
