Hey ya'll
I have a little bit of an update on how the World of Warcraft stuff is
coming along
We will start with the good stuff the go to the bad.
It is very easy to get partnered up with someone else and follow them
around to complete quests. With just a few easy macros set up by someone with
sight is is easy to attack targets and cast the required spelld and so on.
There are addons that will play audible noises when your health is low or when
you have debuffs and things like that.
Here is the bad and the most limiting. I haven't yet found a way to
make the menus accessible. There isn't a way to accept or turn in quests or do
simple things like log out. Once you have logged on once you can do it again
simply enough but there isn't a way to change realms or create new characters.
I have a friend who is totaly blind who lives in the UK who plays
however. Now I can't get him on the phone to answer question but apparently he
uses Microsoft Narrator and does everything on his own including accessing the
menus.
I am hoping to test this soon off of my wifes computer but as of now I
can't find a way to do it at all. JAWS and the Mac Voice over cannot access any
of the buttons and labels at all once the game is launched.
I'll will write another email once I get more info. cheers!!
