I don't know if HP cleaned up their act on this over the last while, but my
4480 quit printing, saying one of the cartridges became incompatible. I
don't know if dad put them in the wrong slots, but I think they either dry
out or have an expiration time after which they won't run any more.

I bought an Hp Photosmart 5510 wireless printer you can run the setup from
the install application I had to download newer drivers from hp as the ones
that came with the printer did not support Lion 10.7.3 but easy to setup and
I have got it running on my windows 7 ultimate virtual machine as well for
openbook. It can be connected via usb also and comes with usb cable. The
Drivers are okay for windows xp and 7.

I went to the Apple Store on Saturday and there was one there touch screen
but the person at the Jenius Bar said that it would be too difficult to
use as the Wireless had to be set up on the printer first and not VO on
it. OF course I thought APPLE should make one with VO on it smile!
