Have you tried rebooting the mac? Also, if you're trying to paste something into the area to download something, I find that using the keyboard shortcuts work a bunch better then just tabbing around. Option d gets you to the download field, for example. for me, none of the fields reads well, like how much has downloaded already, how much left to go, etc. that's never worked for me on the mac.
