Look through the flury of messages and particularly those concerning Mail Wierdness. Robert Carter posted a link in his reply detailing out how to configure Apple Mail and gmail to work beautifully with organization of folders and deletion of messages. Take a look there. I can't explain all that from here at work using this puky Win XP machine. I have it working now and my mail experience is down right pleasing to endure now.
