Dean, I do have the outgoing server set correctly, as verified
mulpitle times. I've walked through the account setup with the
company, repeated the process at the Apple store, and done it
numerous times myself. The weird bit is that it will suddenly start
working fine, and then will stop just as suddenly. I was able to send
two messages this afternoon. Tonight I tried to send one more and it
failed. I then wrote to myself and that one went. I am no longer
touching any account settings, just letting it work properly or not.
Mail worked fine when I was out of town for a week. Go figure! I just
don't think this one's about me. <grin.>
