Hi, This is true but, she also needs to assign an e-mail to her iMessage account on her phone. For example, ones iCloud e-mail or apple ID. But of course any e-mail will do. I would use whatever e-mail she uses for her apple ID or, her iCloud e-mail. This is the e-mails you need to use to set up iMessage on the Mac so, I would stay consistent.
