Hi, I won't be able to answer all your questions as I don't use the iPhone 4S, but I can answer your first question. I was recently trying out Siri on a cousin's iPhone. And, frankly, I was a little disappointed. This was because of 2 main reasons: First, Siri has a hard time understanding the Indian accent. They say that the accuracy of the results depends on the clarity of your voice and not your accent, but I personally found it really hard to communicate with Siri. And a few of my friends who've tried it have also had similar experiences. And, secondly, it doesn't contain any information about India. I searched for restaurants, multiplexes, malls, etc, but it didn't have any information regarding any of them. However,you can get better results if you try asking it to search the web for places in India.
So, those are my views. I don't want to discourage you in any way, but, like you correctly said, the 4S is pretty expensive here, so I just thought I should let you know about my experience.
