there are some rogue ads out there that try to redirect you to mackeeper (not sure that it is the real site). those rogue ads give you an ok button and will not allow you to close safari or gain access to the menu. I have had to send mail to the affected websites about the issue.
as for mackeeper itself, I have not used it personally.
