Hello all,
I have some questions/opinions about iCloud that I would like to share:
Icloud is a great service to sync ipad/iphone/mac/pc/ipod wireless and
automatic.
If it works, it's great!

But if it doesn't , problems have strange behaviors and are difficult to solve.

My problem:
I had delected accidentally some contacts from my ipad and after some minutes,
the contacts were deleted on all my devices.

To have them back, I restored my mac with time-machine on a point where all the
contacts where there.
However, after importing them from my backup of the address book, They were
deleted automatically by iCloud.
Even if I had disconnected my macbook from any wifi-network and how this is
possible, I don't know!

Then, I was trying to select my contacts on iCloud.com so that they should not
overwrite my local contacts.
On that moment, I was discovering that iCloud.com seems a inaccessible website.
I saw a help-topic to select and deletecontacts from the website but there was
nothing I could activate.

My last try, with success was to export the address book in a vcf-format (a
selection of all my individual cards),in stead of the abbu-format.
Also, I had logout on my mac from iCloud in stead of disconnecting from the
internet.

Questions/remarks:
It seems not easy/possible in all situations to restore some parts of your
iCloud-backup back to one device.
You can't decide in with direction you want copy the data , e.g. from iOS to
osx or reverse.

Any comments are greatly appreciated.
