Hello Mike, I've used this app and the price you see is for one month. I think the lifetime price is about ten times the monthly price.
The app is good for planning routes that include both walking and using public transport, but I don't find it to be as good as Navigon for giving turn-by-turn directions at the right time. I haven't bothered with it for a year or so. Also, it hasn't been updated since November 2010 which is a bit disturbing. I like the combination of Navigon and Ariadne GPS.
