Hi,

The Go menu is a menu that, in this case, resides when you are in the Finder.  
It is a menu just like the File or Edit menu with options relating to different 
file locations you may wish to go when in the Finder.  As a side note, the 
Finder is similar to the Desktop or Windows Explorer in the Windows environment.

An alias is synonymous with a Shortcut in the Windows environment.  It is 
simply another name for a file that is placed in a different location.  The 
alias is a pointer to the original.

Copying and Duplicating do more or less the same thing.  usually if you 
Duplicate a file, a copy is placed within the same general file location and 
the filename will be the same with the word "Copy" appended to the end.  If you 
use the Copy and Paste style, normally, you're making a copy of the file 
somewhere else in your file structure.
