Hello; thanks so much for the kind email. i have been using wordpress for a
couple years now but only for blog posts. i've never used pages at all not
through the wordpress site or through mars edit. what i could really use is a
tutorial that will tell me about how to get started with pages and some of the
more obvious pitfalls to avoid. the most important part of my website is the
equipment listings pages. as i tell people if they can't see it they won't
want it and they sure won't buy it. smile so, i need one gallery with about
ten sub folders and each of those will have many items inside them. and each
item will have several photos and some will need a video link. I usually
upload or have the client upload to youtube and then embed the video to my site
using their embed html code. but that might be something else i need to
relearn with wordpress. and one more thing that is really a matter of opinion
than actual necessity. I would really love it if the site or parts of the site
posted on wordpress wouldn't look so much like a blog. any help is greatly
appreciated. my email is [email protected] and would be happy
for you to write me off list any time. thanks and take care, max
