Greetings,
I am not sure why the options would be dimmed but I have tried many
times to upload quicktime videos and every time I got an alert saying that
there were sync issue with the audio and video and the upload failed every time.
I use iMovie for everything now and the upload process is the same and
it only adds a few more steps.
In addition, editing with iMovie is fairly simple once you get the hang
of it.
I would recommend iMovie instead of quicktime.
If you need a walk through in iMovie let me know.
