Hello Lisette, I'm a bit confused as to how you're viewing your mail.
I find Classic View to be simplest and I get rid of the preview pane. In this way, I have the list of my mailboxes on the left and a list of messages on the right. I press Return to open a message and VO reads it straight through. Command-w closes the message again. To set up Mail in this way, go to Mail Preferences (Command-Comma) and select Viewing in the toolbar. Then check the Use classic layout check box. Press Command-w to close the preferences. If your mailboxes are not visible, try pressing Command-Shift-m. Cheers, Anne -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
