When I was first getting use to the Mac I found that the column view was the
easiest to navigate and do copying and pasting of files etc. Here are the steps
I would follow to do what you want. Lets say your audio player is called
"aPlayer" and you have a folder on it called "Books". If you want to copy a
folder into it, try the following.
Command+3 will put into column view.
Navigate to the folder to be copied into the "Books" folder.
Use Command+C to copy it.
Press Command+Shift+C to jump to the finder view that shows your whole Computer.
If you have quick nab off and just use the up and down arrow keys you will hear
VO announce the drives you have attached.
Arrow to "aPlayer" and then use the right arrow to open it.
Now just arrow down to the Books folder and press Command+V to paste the other
folder into it.
Note you do not need to open the Books folder to copy things into it as you
would on Windows. Also if you are just using the arrow keys in the column view
without using the VO modifiers or without having Quick Nav on then you also do
not need to worry about interacting with anything. I am sure there are lots of
ways to do this but this is just how I do it :)
