Hi Erik. 
Do you think the price would be worth it if you had a lot of scanning to do? 
The thing I saw was like the Purl camera, very fast and you didn't have to 
close a scanner or anything like that. For me, I may wait because I don't do 
that much scanning right now. But Kurzweil 1000 for Windows, is not a lot 
cheaper than this one. OpenBook isn't either if you want the Purl camera, and 
you're using Windows, of course. 

I kind of gathered there are two readers: the one that connects to the computer 
and the stand alone one. Did I get that right?
