When in unity each of your Windows apps seems to just be another Mac app
when you command-tab through your open applications. In addition to your
launched Windows apps you should find VMWare Fusion as one of the
running apps. Switch to that. Where I got stuck is you have to tell it
which VM you want to work with. In the Virtual Machine Library window
there is a tool bar followed by a scroll area. If you interact with the
scroll area you'll find all your virtual machines. The tricky bit was
that I couldn't easily select the machine and until it was selected the
View menu items were dimmed out. Space, enter, VO-space all failed to
select. I ended up doing VO-shift-space to select the machine and them I
could doa VO-m to get to the view menu and then pick single window or
hit control+command+u. I don't usually run Unity but I don't recall it
being this hard to turn it off before.

someone please tell me how to exit out of unity mode so that I can use just Mac
or Windows?
Thanks.
