Hello Anne,

Your suggestion was the first thing I tried before posting my query to the 
list.  The problem I am having is that as soon as I land on the dictionary, it 
automatically launches, and I am taken out of Finder.  Even if I leave the 
Dictionary open and Command-Tab back to Finder, I still can't remove the 
Dictionary from the Sidebar.

Thanks for the suggestion, however; you are always helpful.
