Hi all, I'm just wondering what causes my MBP to turn on all by itself after having been off for several hours. It's a little un-nerving to be sitting at your desk minding your own business on your Windows machine when all of a sudden the MBP lights up and plays it's startup sound.
This happened to me a couple of times in a row with several hours in between the other night. Here I am a day and a half later and going to the MBP, and finding it, - you got it, already turned on and booted up to my desktop when I lifted the lid. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the fact that I forgot that I had it plugged into the AC all that time, meaning over the last couple of days. While I'm thinking of it, perhaps I should ask if leaving it plugged in does any harm to anything. I don't think so but maybe I'm wrong about that. Thanks for any input on this scary situation.
