If I understand correctly, IMessage replaced IChat. It's identically the same exact interface, except that now IMessage is included as one of the protocols in addition to AIM, Jabber, etc. that you can use. So, my guess it you set it up within the app, which should be in the dock. If not, it's definitely in your applications directory.
