Hi Chenelle Just press the actual keys you want to use for the short cut. I held down command option and then added the n. You may even be able to press them all at once but I held down the first two and then added the third, then let them all go. It really is easy. You won't hear any feedback, but if you vo left and then right again you will hear the keystroke you just entered spoken.
