No, definitely not normal, and by the way, regarding installing the thing, my friend who I told you all about earlier, took the system in today as I said earlier. They! can't even get it to install. He hung with the spinning Apple. So, yeah. Needless to say, this is really perplexing. Even the Apple Mac Genious! is totally stumped.

The only thing he said really left to do is to check the system in over night, and they're gonna try to wipe the drive on their end, and then clean install. I'm not real hopeful though seeing I tried that on my end with him, and it didn't work.

The only thing they're gonna be doing differently is installing from an actual official installer, not from a downloaded version on the app store.

So, we'll see maybe tomorrow or when he goes to pick it back up if it works, and yes, they're gonna help him remigrate over all his data once he's back up and running. So no worries there.

Chris.

Hi,

Hope you can reasure me here.

I started ml install Fred came on fine and said installing and a progress indicator. It reached 100% but nothing else happens. The time left keeps increasing now. Is this normal?
