I believe Option Escape will bring up those suggested corrections, but I haven't figured out yet how to choose one. Mine plays the little bloop bloop sound, which I actually LOVE because it's just enough warning to let me know that I've made a typo. Spell-check, which still comes up automatically when I hit Send, catches the rest.
