I have to be honest, calendar is better but still not a patch on iOS.  I still 
find the calendar app in ML a bit clunky and there is still a lot of useless 
content on there and too much interacting.  For a calendar it still feels like 
jumping through hoops a bit.  This could have been even more simpler.

But I agree, it is vastly improved, but still half baked.  I am informed 
visually though it looks no different.
