Hi Alex, as Esther said in another thread, Speakable Items isn't new to the Mac. I was fooling around on Youtube and I saw the same thing she was talking about because I wanted to know if I could get Siri's functionality on the Mac. So I tried it after the video for a few weeks when I had Lion and, well, I wasn't too impressed with it because it completely ignored my energy saver settings and prevented my screen from dimming. This was when I had it set to listen for a key word. Now that Mountain Lion is here, for the people that have at least light perception on this list, does your screen dim after you speak a command?
