I am not sure if this might help. The standard Mac mailboxes show up and "on my Mac" submenu is the last one in the list. If you select the "On My Mac" submenu, all of your personally created mailboxes should become visible.
I now have to do this additional step when moving messages to different folders but it works. hth Sharon.
