Check in VO Utility to see what cursors are following each other.  If they 
appear to be normal, make sure that cursor tracking is still on.  Sometimes, 
you turn it off for some reason but forget to turn it back on and then things 
can get frustrating.  Press VO-shift-f3 and VO should announce "Cursor tracking 
On" or "Cursor tracking Off".  You should want it on.
