Hello again, Thank you for the clarification. I'll file an enhancement request that after closing a calendar notification VoiceOver focus/cursor be returned to it's last position. Unfortunately we cannot comment on when this may be implemented. In the meantime one way of continuing would be to use VO-D and then utilize the dock to get back to your chosen application.
