Yes, but then you have to turn VO off or you'll have two screen readers speaking. Having to turn VO off and on every time I flip into and out of Chrome is a non-starter. Most people don't just live in their browser. Chromevox makes a lot of sense on platforms which don't already have a screen reader so on the Mac it's just odd.
