Chris.

Hi guys
My only thought about this is whether you guys have tried putting your
computers into and out of fullscreen mode? I found sometimes that makes a
difference as to what I am seeing and not seeing.

OK, then, you're having identically the same problem that I'm having.
How do we both fix this?
Chris.

Here Spotlight doesn't work at all since Mountain Lion on my two machines.
When I type a search term Spotlight finds several results but as soon as I
move the cursor down - either with VO + arrow down or just arrow down -
all results are vanished except for the definition from the encyclopedia.

Yeah, but I still find that preview window is popping up, making it get
stuck where I can't keep scrolling down.

Hi there
I use Spotlight a lot. Have you tried just using down arrow and not using
the VO keys?

OK, Spotlight is appearing to be a bit confusing. They've obviously
changed it a bit from how it worked in lion and earlier.
When I hit command+space, I'm typing in my search query, but here is the
weird thing. It looks like along side the results is a quicklook pannel
that shows what you're looking for. The issue is, if I type my query,
then start doing vo+down arrow, I'm finding though I see the results, if
I keep vo+down arrowing, I find the list of results is collapsing and
not allowing me to continue going down the list. I don't know if it has
to do with that stupid preview paine getting in my way, or what, but I'm
finding this to be extremely irritating.
Is there not a way to get around this? What am I missing.
Here's an example: I have a contact named Ben Bloomgren in my
addressbook. If I hit command+space, then type bloomgren wait a second
or so to let it populate, then I vo+down arrow I hear his contact entry
in my contacts, but then I also have things like an IMessage I started
with him, but then apparently there are other things down there too. I
can't get to them though. As soon as I hit the result with our
IMessage, the menu collapses and then all I see is search wikipedia for
Bloomgren, and if I try vo+up arrowing, I get nowhere but back to the
actual search text box, and if I vo+down arrow it just sits there like
an idiot and dings at me.
I'm obviously doing something wrong. Do tell. What changed from Lion
to Mountain Lion? This is ridiculous.
Chris.
