Actually, he's not kidding! I did see a version 1.0 for the Mac way way back in the days, but God Jesus! That had to be like OS8, or 9! This was like, even before the days of Voiceover, and I don't really think they did much with it. I don't think Melsoft even did anything past 1.0. It was so darn limited from what I've been told, trust me, even if you used Outspoken, it most likely wouldn't a been worth it.
Why not give VLC a go. I really like it for what it is. Windows Media Player for the Mac? Anyone?
