Hello Donna, Are you talking about ABBYY FineReader Express for Mac? If so, I don't understand your question. When I open a scan with FR, I'm presented with a window where I can choose the language, then the type of document I want to produce such as RTF, spreadsheet, HTML or searchable PDF.
