this is going to seem like an absolutely stupid question, I know, but why could you not just reopen the HTML file with in text edit. Would that not work to show your html work? in other words, after saving your file, don't we open it with in safari, but instead, reopen the file with in text edit itself. Hope this helps. Chris.
