Hi, When you said even though it is not enabled, do you actually have the checkbox under VoiceOver that says "use compact voice"? Any iOS device needs to connect to iTunes once in order to get the high quality voice. Not sure why that is. But you did say you reset your phone. So I would connect it to iTunes, probably need to perform a sync. After that, you will not have the high quality voice right away, but it will appear shortly. Now if you do have the checkbox and it is unchecked, and you still don't have the high quality voice, you might need to do a restore or perhaps another reset. Generally, an iPhone with factory default settings do not have the "use compact voice" checkbox. Only after performing a sync with iTunes, the checkbox will appear. I remember doing this with a brand new iPad. After sync, the high quality voice did not appear. I left it and went to sleep. Some time during the night, it appeared.
