Hi, If you use the iMap protocol, you may also wish to wait about 10 to 20 seconds after deleting messages before quitting the Mail app. I've noticed that Mail will sometimes hang as iMap is trying to place the deleted or moved messages in their new locations and if you Quit too soon, it gets cranky.
