Thanks, Risette! Just replying from within Mail as you suggest is working fine for this thread as I requested email notifications of posts. But normally I just get the digest emails to save my inbox from being flooded.
Would be great if there was a way to reply to digest emails from within mail. I'll try putting the thread subject in the subject field of the email. I have a feeling that might work.
