Thanks Paul,

It's interesting you should say that because my system does seem to get really 
hot when I'm working with k1000. It's really the only thing I do in windows on 
my Mac actually.  If there was a native Mac reading solution on par with k1000 
i would make a total switch from the pc world.

That being said, with bootcamp I would have to get another license of windows, 
wouldn't I?  Or could I somehow transfer it over from fusion to the partition?

If anyone has any other insights I would still love to hear them. Staying with 
fusion would be my first choice if it's possible.
