Have you tried putting vo on that spot, then routing the mouse pointer (vo-cmd-f5)? At least on webpages, I use this trick to envoke functionality only brought about by hovering the mouse. Once you perform the command, explore the window as vo will likely not announce the new options that should appear. Please note that I have never tried this personally, but it should work in theory.
