I experienced this inability to interact also. Haven't used it much lately but think I have resolved the issue.
I had set up a messages activity to turn off cursor tracking like it was recommended by the user guide. I deleted it and now use normal default cursor tracking options and it appears to have solved the issue with interacting with the html. Best.
