Airfoil allows you to wirelessly transmit audio around your home or office. The minimum is a machine running Airfoil and another machine running Airfoil Speakers. Airfoil however supports Airport Express and other compatible devices, Airplay features in iOS, Apple TV, and so on.

I've seen reference to AirFoil. What does it do and what equipment does one
need to use it? Thanks.

Hi All,

In honor of Rogue Amoeba's 10th Anniversary, all products on their web site
that are purchased today (September 30) have a $10 savings. Airfoil for either
Mac or Windows is $15 instead of $25, and if you want their combined Airfoil
bundle for both platforms it's $30 instead of $40. Audio Hijack Pro is $22
instead of $32. Fission is $22 instead of $32, and if you want to buy the Audio
Hijack Pro + Fission bundle, it's $40 instead of $50. Nicecast for
broadcasting your music is $49 instead of $59, and Piezo, a very simple
recording app, is $5 instead of $15.

The Rogue Amoeba web page for the sale is:
http://www.rogueamoeba.com/store/deals/TenthAnniversary.php

However, you can just go to the main web site, and today any of the items you
purchase will have the $10 discount applied, whether you use the above link or
the regular web page links from:

http://www.rogueamoeba.com/

HTH. I've listed the prices because on the sale web page I hear VoiceOver
announce all the items as a price drop from $25 to $5, which is not correct.
Also, on the check out page, by default the first radio button (for credit
cards) will be selected. If you want to use Paypal, switch this to the second
radio button. The sale is good for another 8+ hours.

Cheers,

Esther
