Hi,

I've had this happen temporarily on occasion.  Turning VO off then on didn't 
fix the problem but if I got to the Finder, selected a folder, turned VO off, 
pressed cmd-o to open the folder, cmd-w to close the folder, then turned VO 
back on, everything worked as it should.  Not exactly sure why that works but 
it does.  Maybe someone else has an easier solution but that works for me.
