HI, I've been trying to add my own custom keyboard shortcuts. I've found the place to do it in the keyboard panel of system preferences. I've added some new custom application shortcuts but they're mostly not working.
The ones I've tried so far are as follows: Option-Command-Shift-A for saving attachments in Mail. I just wrote "Save Attachments" as the menu description. However, it's not working. Option-Command-Shift-T for sharing a webpage with Twitter in Safari. I just wrote "Twitter" as the menu description. This seemed to conflict with some other short cut so I changed it to Option-Shift-T but it now takes me to the Twitter webpage instead of sharing the current page via Twitter. Option-Command-Shift-F to share with Facebook in Safari. I again just wrote "Facebook" as the menu description. However, this too just takes me to the Facebook page instead of sharing the current page via Facebook. Option-Command-Shift-S to sync my iPhone in iTunes. I was confused as to what this menu item was as it changes depending on what's connected to iTunes. I've tried several different things but none have worked so far. If anyone can explain where I'm going wrong and/or explain how to properly add custom keyboard shortcuts I'd really appreciate it. thanks in advance!
