As far as I know there is no downside to keeping you Bootcamp partition. I have been using this method for about two years and have upgraded from Fusion 3 to 4 and now to 5 without any problems. Sorry if I keep going round and round on this topic, but I want to do this right. I spent alot of time getting Windows7 setup in a bootcamp installation on my iMac. Now I have a trial copy of fusion5 and after I install it, I will most likely buy it as I know from watching the list that it works well, and will let me use windows and OSX side-by-side. But, before I rip out the bootcamp partition and go the fusion route, I want to know: Is there a downside to keeping the bootcamp - other than its disk usage I mean? If I just ask fusion5 to use the bootcamp installation, will all the programs (screen reader etc) work as well as if I went the fusion install route? Can I do both? I kind of like having windows as a native installation. please bury me with more information than I'll ever need on this topic;-) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
