Cheree Heppe here: The IPad has the same settings as the IPhone.
I think that, on the home screen, you find and enter settings, scroll down to time and date, which is down near the bottom of the list inside general. I have set time automatically chacked. Then, you get out by double tapping the back buttons for the ones you entered until you're back at the home screen again.
