Don't get the wrong idea. This list is mainly... shruggs: *mainly!* for the
use of Voiceover with the Mac, and I'm sure the mods would probably say,
please do not make a habbit of it, but one in a while IPhone questions to
crop up, and that's perfectly acceptable. Or at least, the mods never have
jumped in and said anything. I, even have asked a few things about my
IPhone. It's rare, but it does happen on occasions. I guess what I'd say
from a member perspective and not that there of a mod is, be sparing about
it, and not make it a habbit, but if you have a question here and there,
don't feel we won't help. This list is extremely friendly, and as long as
it's within reason, we'll do everything we can to help you out.

Hello list,
My name's Daniel, and I figure I'd introduce myself. I was accepted to the
list today, and I'm from Florida.
I recently got a Mac Book pro 13 inch, late 2011 in April of this year. I
figure I'd join this list as I herd that this is a pretty good list to
receive newly help.
I look forward to learning allot about my first ever Apple machine from this
list, this is my first Apple machine. I have an iPhone, but this list isn't
about that. *smiles*
My Mac thus far has helped me in more than 1 way, but the most promising
ways that it has helped, is in my freedom of not having to rely on an a
thousand dollar screen reader. No longer do I need to pay for a screen
reader, one is already built-in with the use of Voiceover, and for that, I
find that amazing.
The other way my Mac has helped, is in the running of my web hosting
service, www.firestar-hosting.com
Without my Mac and terminal, I'd have to rely on an SSH (Secure Shell)
client to be installed, or I'd have to buy one. Thankfully, however,
terminal has done me well.
In any event, I'm done talking about how good my Mac has been. I look
forward to receiving as much help as members would be willing to give.
